words...

Thursday, August 09, 2007

Mark Twain once said this, "Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter."

It’s funny. Well I don’t know whether I am the only one who finds it funny but who cares nway. The thought of Mark Twain playing with only two words, mind and matter, and able to make them somehow comical, well for his effort, he tried, I guess he did good. He’s good with words.

There was another thing also. Like “Practice makes perfect”, and yet “Nobody is perfect”. So why bother practicing in the first place. I always find words as amusing. Add up with some intonation when you say it and give it a jiggle while saying it, it makes whole lot more difference to just a word. Books or any article for that matter gives you like lotsa rooms for imaginations to roam free on how the words are being presented. People perceive a situation just by reading it and the setup is made inside your head with flaws that you can hide and render it to your own understanding. That’s the power of reading. It’s fun. because words involve in it.
