sha and the portable door..

Tuesday, April 10, 2007

“Starting a new job can be extremely stressful. You meet your colleagues and forget their names. You meet your boss and forget his name. Then, after breaking the photocopier, you forget your own name. And the next day you get to do it all again.” taken from Tom Holt’s, The Portable Door.

That was exactly what I felt when I got into Petronas. But I guess they kept improving better and better along the way. What I meant; the ability of remembering names, the abilty of using the photocopy machine/ fax machine, the ability of using the printer, the ability of maximising all the buttons on the most complicated phone I’ve ever laid my eyes on.. all of these abilities, they keep improving each day.. oh, and this, the ability of using the elevators. Muahahha.. it might sound simple but when you are in KLCC, this skill(changing elevators) is vital.

have you ever??

Monday, April 09, 2007

Have you ever in a position where you feel so helpless and defenceless?
Have you ever think you are always right, when it was so obvious you are indeed wrong?
Have you ever regretted the things that you do?
Have you ever felt like shutting your self down from all the connection in the world?
Have you ever felt so sick because you know that you are making the biggest blunder in your life?
Have you ever wished you get the chance of making everything alright again?
Have you ever done things that you wished you would do them differently?
Have you ever felt so confused before?

And hell yeah, you know what, to me the answers are all yes..

sha and friendships...

Tuesday, April 03, 2007

Is amazing to think of when you can gather all of your friends who are now at every corner of the earth to a place where you can chitchat, laugh you ass off and gossiping.
Last week was fun. I had cramps in my stomach trying not to laugh or was it because I was laughing excessively. Thank you gals for buying the cake, paying my bills and of course, the presents… all were beautiful and excellent presents. Jaja, thank you for the bag. Fira and apid, thanks for the bag also. Diyana, thank you for the baju. And diha, the book is so nice, seriously. It seems that I can’t seem to put the book down. It’s interesting to read. And noran, thank you for your contribution in my new handbag. *wink*
Anyway, these are the group of people that I am really close with. I never doubt in the power of friendship that we have. We practically know each other since 2003. 4 years ago. That’s is how long it has been. And the friendship still grows and even though we are separated and scattered all over Malaysia, we still make time every month to meet up and update ourselves with each other’s latest news. It was devastating when we got to know that Zura is offered a job at Miri, and Diyana at Gebeng. I always thought of us all renting a place in KL and going to work together. So when these two bunnyheads we transferred there, it is impossible to still stay together like we always did at UTP. But we live through it, and these made me realise that we are now adults where life is slowly taking control of us. And now Apit is in Melaka, which is like a cherry topping on top of the cake. Voila!! Now three bunnyheads are jumping around in Miri, Gebeng and Melaka. Jaja, Noran and me staying quietly in KLCC and Diha handling her own satellite dish at MEASAT. And of course Fira, how can we forget her, she is the only bunny jumping around at SHELL, Damansara. And fina, she is somewhere in either MNI or the other office (sorry terlupers). Damn. Wengurls are all over the place. We are now in the rat race. I think I am realising something now, we are no longer the girls that we used to be. We are now career ladies. Muahhhahahhaha….

*to jaja, congratulation on the big news. And hope that we will all soon follow in your footsteps (which I am still wondering when will it be.. hahhaha).
