It was a short trip… but it took like 2 freaking days just to go there… first transit in Bangkok, then a ten hours transit in Dubai, which left me feeling jet lag the minute we landed in Khartoum. In all, Sudan was a nice place. The office is just an inch away from the Nile River. The weather is damn hot. And I get the chance to know the people working there coz I spent at their so called Malaysian Hall. Most of them are crazy in their own ways. Some are crazy snapping pictures all the time and get arrested for it (in Khartoum, it happens that taking picture in some places are illegal), some are crazy buying antique carpets and bringing it back to Malaysia, some are crazy with swords that they can actually spend 200US dollar just for d sake of a sword. And how do they actually bring the swords back?? They rolled the swords up in carpets. Seriously. Probably when you stay in Khartoum for too long, the dusty air kinda cloud up your minds. And then you’ll get the talent of creating many dirty jokes. As for food, chicken like Pn Zainon says, it costs RM 18 per kilo. Or was it the whole chicken? Food is expensive. But each time we went for dinner or lunch we didn’t pay anything and I dunno who paid for each meal. So I never get the idea of how expensive the foods are. Khartoum specialty? I guess these two things; kakade (some type of tea) and honey. And Khartoum is the place where the Blue Nile and the White Nile meets and become as a one, Great Nile. Interesting eh?

* I am addicted to the cheese honey mozzarella. When u are in Sudan, don’t forget to go to Aspawa and have them. It’s delicious!

Sha stays at grand palace…

This week I was at Miri..

I went to Zura’s house… it is huge… exactly like houses owned by people who are married with 4 children… hurm, pity you have very weird housemates..

Miri is beautiful and seriously, if I ought to be transferred.. I want to go there. I bet there will be a lot to learn, because when you stay at center especially in Carigali.. there is nothing much that you can learn.. so better to reside at region.

On serious note.. I think I am realizing something which is very important… I am 23rd.. I am single… and the main thing is that.. I don’t mind being single.. my cousin keeps saying that it is among the signs that says I am going to end up as an old maid. Ketuk kepaler kazen aku nih kang.. memandai je… but I like being single.. hassle-free. =)

Plus I am not sure whether I am a person that can share things with others. I am not a very open person, I live in my own shell. I create it so that I can live happily without being too depressed. I listen to the words that only I want to hear. I act according to what my mind consents. I think many things but I always concentrate on trivial matters, things which are not really heavy, such as the effects of global warming, the progression of my work and etc . But still, I am learning to crack the shell slowly. I want to be a better person. The world is getting terribly scary.

*zura and ju thanx for the hospitality that you have given.. and to hardy haris... if you ever read this post.. which i think he doesn't.. you have a very cool dad.. coz Mr Haris Manhakim treat us all (zura, ju, sunita and I) to a dinner... hahhaa...

sha stays at awana...

I was at Terengganu last week. Coz there are a few things to settle at PMO. Traveling when you know that soon after the plane lands you ought to go to the office, is not a pleasant feeling at all. Well the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Haih...

One thing that I was able to figure out though is that, how much I hate to wait. I feel like I’ve lost my time by just sitting still waiting for something. Waiting is such a waste of time and very tiring. Very… exhausting…

*february has left us.. the most interesting month.. bye2..
